Key Stage 4 Curriculum Guide Throughout Key Stage 4 Years 9–11 will follow the core curriculum alongside their chosen option subjects. Students will study a Core Curriculum leading to GCSEs in (except Games): English Maths Science RE Games (non-qualification) In addition, students can choose 4 GCSE or BTEC/Vocational subjects from the following areas: Performance Faculty: Art and Design: Fine Art, Art and Design: Photography, Art and Design: Textiles, Dance, Design and Technology, Drama, Food Preparation and Nutrition, Music, PE/Sport Humanities Faculty: Business Studies, Computer Science, Geography, Health and Social Care, History, ICT, Travel and Tourism Modern Foreign Languages: French, German, Spanish Science All students study Science as part of their core curriculum which leads to a GCSE in Combined Science. As an alternative, students may choose Triple Science as an option; this leads to three separate GCSEs in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
