EXAM RESULTS

The summer 2020 exam results will be issued on the following dates:

Thursday 13 August 2020 - A Level Results Day
Thursday 20 August 2020 - GCSE Results Day

The process for collecting results is as stated below - which is different this year due to the unprecedented circumstances:

* All Year 13 students will be invited in to school at an allocated time to collect their results. Any results not collected will be EMAILED to the student's school email address by 12:00 and POSTED out later that day - please click here for the Year 13 letter.

* All Year 12 students will have their results POSTED out later that day via first class mail. (Please note, there will be no alternate method for sending out these results.)

* All Year 11 students will be invited in to school at an allocated time to collect their results. Any results not collected will be EMAILED to the student's school email address by 13:00 and POSTED out later that day - please click here for the Year 11 letter

* All Year 10 students will have their results POSTED out later that day via first class mail. (Please note, there will be no alternate method for sending out these results.)

Students will receive an "Individual Candidate Statement of Results" with the provisional results awarded by the exam boards.
The information will include a grade for each subject exam entry.

* A Level, AS Level and EPQ project qualifications are graded from A* to E

* GCSE qualifications are graded from 9 to 1

* The OCR GCSE Combined Science (J250) is a double award so there will be two grades worth two GCSEs (e.g. 6-5 means 1 x grade 6 and 1 x grade 5)

* BTEC and Cambridge National qualifications are graded from Distinction* to Pass

* Entry Level qualifications are graded from Entry 3 to Entry 1

* Please note a U grade means the result is unclassified and is therefore considered a fail

Students will also receive a letter in their results envelope with information regarding what you need to do if you have any queries, or if you want to be entered for any re-sits in the new Autumn 2020 exam series.
Please also refer to these two Ofqual Guidance documents for further information:

* "Guidance for teachers, students, parents and carers: Summer 2020 grades for GCSE, AS and A level, Extended Project Qualification and Advance Extension Award in maths

* "Guidance for teachers, students, parents and carers: Summer 2020 results for vocational, technical and other qualifications"

Miss Milligan, the Careers Co-ordinator, will be available on both results days for any support or guidance regarding progression.
Mr Morey and the Sixth Form team of staff will also be available - by appointment only - on both results days to assist with any Year 13 UCAS and apprenticeship queries and any Year 11 NLS Sixth Form enrolment queries.
