Come and join our Sixth-Form...

At North Leamington Sixth-Form we are very proud of our Sixth-Form students and their many achievements. The A-Level pass rate in 2008 was well above the national average, and our pass rates for vocational courses at Advanced level and Intermediate level were also excellent. Students make better than expected progress as indicated by Value Added Measures. The ethos of our Sixth-Form is one of praise, good relationships and a friendly working atmosphere. Every student is known well and given the support and encouragement to achieve the very best they can.

September 2009 will see the opening of the new school off Sandy Lane. We are delighted by the opportunities this presents, particularly the move into superb facilities, the best available. The Sixth-Form, whilst retaining its character and strong community cohesion, will at last have the opportunity to be a part of the wider school with all their teachers and tutors on the same site. The purpose-designed and built Sixth Form Centre is again second to none.

The list below explains the procedure for entry into our Sixth-Form in September 2009. Students from North Leamington Community School & Arts College will have a programme of visits and information giving throughout December - February. Applicants from other schools are warmly welcomed and should ring or write to arrange a visit as well as coming to our Open Evening on the 5 February 2009, from 6.00 - 9.00pm. • Applications forms in - February
• All external applicants will be interviewed - February/April
• Sixth-form induction at Binswood Hall - Friday 3 July 2009
• GCSE results - 27th August 2009
• Enrolment and final course choice - Thursday 2 & 3 September 2009 at NLS
